"Sleepy Bulldog"
The name "Sleepy Bulldog" is, of course, a moniker. His real name is yet unknown.
As an artificer, Sleepy developed the core mechanisms of the Arcane Shackle before King Nicholas claimed the throne.
Though commissioned to create a device to restrain dangerous spellcasters who threatened the realm, Sleepy had suspicions that his invention would ultimately be used to oppress all who practiced magic, regardless of their intent.
Driven by guilt and a desire to counter the weapon he had created, Sleepy established a resistance group known as "The Bulldogs" dedicated to protecting innocent magic users from the persecution he had inadvertently helped enable.
